Our client is currently looking to recruit for a passionate and dedicated full-time Room Leader. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare, we would love to hear from you! An additional bonus will be previous experience as a Room Leader, however this is only preferable and not required. A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner is required to be considered for this role.
The successful candidate will be starting a Management position in which you will be responsible for running your allocated room and managing the staff within your room. You may also be required to assist the Nursery Manager with other Managerial duties as and when needed. This is a permanent role which is offering a competitive basic salary and additional benefits.
You will be expected to be a positive role model to both the children in your room, as well as the staff under your Management. You must want to join a setting that focuses on individuality and creativity. You will be joining a large group however it maintains an independent feel. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement the EYFS curriculum
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate childrens records
- Assume deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager if required
- Support, mentor and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties
- Monitor your teams paperwork including planning and learning journeys on a regular basis
- Provide high standards of quality within the nursery
- Remain up-to-date with current developments in childcare
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met
Requirements of this Role:
- Level 3 in Childcare or above
- Minimum of 1 year previous Room Leader experience
- Passion to upskill
- A positive role model to your team
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
