An exciting role for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner has become available at one of our clients settings, based in North London. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and at least 1 year previous experience to join a well-known nursery that has been graded overall 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

Our client aim to provide the highest level of care and education to the children that attend on a daily basis. They have children aged from 3 months to 5 years. They have a main focus and aim for each and every child to be happy, healthy and to enjoy their early years. In addition to this, they want parents to have the peace of mind that their children are being cared for to the highest level. This is the basis they work by daily and has lead to them being graded 'Outstanding'.

The setting also has modern recent renovations and a large courtyard garden to the rear, which is been built specifically for children with soft surfaces. The nursery is ideally located, being just approximately a 10 minute walk from near-by public transport links. They are open from 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks per year. The successful candidate will also have 1 week off during Christmas.

Key Responsibilities

• Have an understanding of the Statutory Guidelines within the EYFS
• Complete observations, assessments and recording of children's progress
• To guide and support all children
• Encourage children's self-confidence and independence
• To build and maintain good relationships with parents/carers
• To act as a key person to a small group of children
• To advise the Nursery Manager of any concerns
• To ensure that children are kept safe
• To adhere to all policies and procedures

Requirements for this Role:

• Level 3 or above in Childcare
• Previous experience in Childcare
