Salary: Up to £36,000.00 per year

About The Client

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Pre-School Room Leader & Lead Teacher to start as soon as possible. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), this is a requirement due to the nature of the role.

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of 6 Nursery Practitioners, with up to 30 children and a ratio of 1:8.

Nursery Room Leader & Lead Teacher Requirements:

  • Experience and confidence in leading staff in a nursery setting
  • Knowledge and experience with phonics
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Childcare

Nursery Room Leader & Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning the teaching element of the room effectively
  • Ensure children are making outstanding progress
  • Weekly planning and teacher time out of the classroom
  • To be aware of all policies and procedures
  • Support, mentor and supervise the staff in your room
  • To be friendly and approachable
