About The Client

We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are a very well-known and established nursery currently recruiting a Nursery Room Leader to start as soon as possible. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.

Our client aim to provide the highest level of care and education to the children that attend on a daily basis. They have children aged from 3 months to 5 years. They have a main focus and aim for each and every child to be happy, healthy and to enjoy their early years. In addition to this, they want parents to have the peace of mind that their children are being cared for to the highest level. This is the basis they work by daily and has lead to them being graded 'Outstanding' and they are working hard continually to maintain this on future inspections.

The setting also has modern recent renovations and a large courtyard garden to the rear, which is been built specifically for children with soft surfaces. The nursery is ideally located, being just approximately a 10 minute walk from near-by public transport links. They are open from 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks per year. The successful candidate will also have 1 week off during Christmas.

As Room Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring your teams performance, being a positive role model to both the children and your team and ensuring your room is continually running at the highest level in terms of care of the children and the level of education provided.

  • To ensure your team adhere to the nursery policies and procedures
  • Ensuring staff training and induction is maintained
  • Observe each child's progress and report on achievements
  • Ensuring clear understanding of the settling of new children into your room
  • Ensure that the team maintain an attractive and stimulating environment for the children in your care
  • To report/act on any Safeguarding concerns in a timely manner
