We are proud to be partnered with our client who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader. The successful candidate must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and have a minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience. Our client is looking for a qualified early years professional who is eager to pursue and progress in their career within the Childcare industry. The successful candidate will be joining a nursery who aim daily for the workplace to be fun and energetic, as well as one in which staff feel valued and supported.

The setting cares for children from 3 months up to when they are ready to go off to Primary School. They have very recently been inspected by Ofsted, in which they achieved an overall grade 'Good' with the following feedback:

• "Leaders and managers use self-evaluation well"
• "Staff are well supported"

The nursery is open from 7:30am - 7:00pm, the successful candidate will be working a 40 hour week, Monday - Friday. The setting itself is ideally located near public transport links.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Room Leader will include:

• To be responsible for leading and managing the staff in your room
• To identify needs for training in your team
• Provide feedback to parents and carers
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the highest standards
• Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly followed at all times
• Plan age appropriate activities
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the requirements of Ofsted
• Carry out observations and next steps

Requirements of this Nursery Room Leader Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience
