We are recruiting on behalf of our client who has a great opportunity available for a passionate, dedicated and hard-working Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team in Aylesbury. A full Level 3 in Childcare is essential to be considered for this role and the successful candidate must have the ambition and vision for a long-term career within the industry, with the aim to progress within your career as and when the opportunities arise.

You could be making a positive difference to the children that attend the nursery on a daily basis, within a well-established growing nursery. As a practitioner, you will be responsible for caring for the children in your room and providing a high level of education to the children. Your responsibilities will include:

• To work in partnership with parents and carers
• Assist in ensuring the nursery provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment
• To observe, plan and evaluate children's development
• To effectively deliver the EYFS
• To ensure records are properly maintained
• Maintain accurate and effective children's records
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met
• To be flexible within working practices of the setting
• To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
• To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
• Ensure Food Safety Regulations are complied with
• To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards their early learning outcomes
• To understand and adhere to all policies & procedures
• Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery

Requirements of this Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Previous Childcare experience
