We have partnered with a well-known and established Childcare name to recruit for a Nursery Room Leader to start as soon as possible. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.
They are an Ofsted registered nursery and achieved an overall grade 'Good'. They achieved the following feedback on their latest inspection:

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established, friendly and experienced team located in Gloucestershire. You will be joining a nursery that continually works to ensure their staff feel valued and rewarded on a daily basis and ongoing support will be provided if and when needed to ensure you settle into your new role as quickly and easily as possible.

As Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring your teams performance, being a positive role model to both the children and your team, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, identify needs for staff training and upskilling, training new staff and ensuring your room is continually running at the highest level in terms of care of the children and the level of education provided.

Nursery Room Leader Key Responsibilities:
- To be the main contact for the designated Nursery room
- Plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities in line with the EYFS
- Act as Room Leader and to implement the EYFS curriculum
- Support the Nursery Practitioners and students in the implementation and evaluation of Childrens planning and progress
- Be a key worker for a group of children
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum
- Communicate with parents/carers
- Maintain accurate childrens records
- Ensure that the nursery meets safety and hygiene requirements
- Assume Deputy Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Deputy Manager
- Provide high standards of quality within the nursery
- To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures including safeguarding, child protection, confidentiality and other relevant nursery policies
- To keep up to date with developments in childcare
- To maintain records and documentation that complies with statutory requirements
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as required from time to time
