Salary: £23,000.00-£29,600.00 per year
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is currently looking to recruit for a Deputy Nursery Room Leader for their brand new setting opening in May 2023. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare or Montessori and previous experience in Childcare, we would love to hear from you!
Their new setting will be newly renovated with a modern feel and the successful candidate will be there from day 1 of the new setting to watch it grow and develop! The setting is conveniently located, being under a 10 minute walk from a local train station and located near to a High Street.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team
- Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content
- Observing, assessing, and planning for the children's individual needs
- Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education
- Ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements
- Be aware of the nurseries policies and procedures
- Assisting the Room Leader in leading a team
- Assist the Room Leader in delegating tasks to the team to ensure the smooth running of the room
- Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children
Requirements of this Role:
- Level 3 in Childcare or above (Montessori qualification desirable)
- Minimum of 1 year previous Childcare experience
- A positive role model to your team
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
- To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team
