We are proud to be working on behalf of our client in Worcester who are currently recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare to be considered for this role. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and well-known childcare name where any required support and guidance will be offered from day 1 and will be ongoing.

The nursery has children up to 5 years and they are open 6:45am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will receive a salary starting from £11.50 per hour and is dependant on experience and qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities in line with the EYFS
• Action and monitor all child safeguarding/protection issues/accidents
• Be a key worker for a group of children
• To work in partnership with parents and carers
• Assist in ensuring the nursery provides a safe, happy, and stimulating environment
• To observe, plan and evaluate appropriately for children's development
• To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and effective children's records
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met

Requirements of this Role:

• Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 6 months previous Childcare experience
• Have a desire to work with an organisation that respects individuality and creativity
• Have strong EYFS knowledge
• A passion to make a difference and progress your career
