Salary: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

We have partnered with a nursery in South West London to recruit for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to start as soon as possible. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 2 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 1 year previous experience in Childcare.

The nursery was established in 2011 and the youngest age group in the setting is 2 years old. They are a Montessori nursery, therefore they have a passion for providing an educational environment in which the children develop natural interests and benefit from enhanced social interaction and independent learning, within a child-lead environment. Due to this, previous Montessori experience is strongly desired however not a requirement.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring you follow all policies and procedures, build and maintain working relationships with parents/carers and complete regular observations on children's development.

Nursery Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high standards of childcare and education
• To support the aims and objectives of the nursery
• To work as a key person
• To report any concerns promptly to the Nursery Manager (Health & Safety, Safeguarding etc)
• To ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
• To liaise with parents/carers
