Salary between £22,000 - £26,000 per annum

We are currently working with our client who are currently seeking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner for an ASAP start date. You will be based in the toddler room (ages 2-3) and will be responsible for delivering high quality care and education to all children based in your specific room.

Our clients aim is to provide an enjoyable learning experience for the children in their care. They were graded an overall grade 'Good' on their latest OFSTED inspection. They provide care to children between the ages of 3 months to 8 years. They are conveniently located within walking distance of several methods of public transport.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To plan activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• To deliver high quality care and education to all children in your specific room
• To report any Safeguarding concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead
• To be a key person to a certain number of children in your specific room
• To work closely with parents/carers
• To have sound knowledge of essential childcare related topics (Safeguarding, Health & Safety, EYFS etc)
• To adhere to nursery policies and procedures at all times
• To attend team meetings
• Conduct observations on a daily basis
• Any other duties as reasonably directed by your Line Manager

Requirements of This role:

• Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in Childcare
• Friendly personality
• Sound knowledge of Safeguarding
• Confidence
• Willingness to learn and develop
