Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Room Leader in the Toddler room. This position is for an ASAP start. The ideal candidate for this role will hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as 2+ years in Childcare, 1+ year in a nursery specifically. A massive bonus would be to have 6+ months previous experience in a managerial role, this doesn't necessarily have to be a managerial role within the Childcare industry.

They are an OFSTED registered company and achieved an overall grade 'Good' on their latest inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
• Lead by example and assist the practitioners in your room
• Have sound knowledge of Safeguarding and the processes and procedures
• Act as a role model to the children as well as staff
• Ensure your room is to the highest condition of cleanliness and Health & Safety
• Carry out occasional supervisions
• Have an understanding of play-based approaches to children's learning and development
• A commitment to continually promote a good working atmosphere and culture
• Supporting management
• Have key-person responsibility
• To be responsible for the welfare of all children based in your specific room
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with parents and carers
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
