Salary: Up to £27,144.00 per year

We are proud to be partnered with our client who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and have a minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience. The setting cares for children from 3 months up to 5 years and is open from 7:30am - 6:30pm, the successful candidate will be working a 40 hour week, Monday - Friday. The setting is also ideally located being close to local transport links.

They have very recently been inspected by Ofsted, in which they achieved an overall grade 'Outstanding' with the following feedback:

  • "Inspirational leadership of the management team"
  • "The quality of teaching is exceptional"

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Room Leader will include:

  • To be responsible for managing the staff in your room
  • To identify needs for training in your team
  • Provide feedback reports to parents/carers about their child's day
  • Ensuring your room is consistently running to the highest standard to maintain the 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating
  • Carry out observations
  • Plan child-led activities
  • To be a positive role model

Requirements of this Nursery Room Leader Role:

  • Level 3 in Childcare or above
  • Minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience
  • Ability to provide effective and supportive management to your team
