£23,900 - £25,000 a year - Full-time, Fixed term contract
About The Client
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Room Leader for the 2-3 room. This position is for an ASAP start and on a 9 month FTC as maternity cover, with the potential to extend to 12 months. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.
They are an OFSTED registered company and achieved an overall grade 'Good'.
Key Responsibilities
- Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
- To manage your room and staff based in your room
- To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
- To be aware of all policies and procedures
- To plan and organise activities
- Supporting your key children's growth and development
- To conduct 1-2-1's with staff in your room
- To work closely with parents/carers to keep them updated on their children's progress
- To ensure records are maintained
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum
- Support, mentor and supervise the staff in your room
- To be friendly and approachable
