This is a great opportunity to step into a Management position and lead your particular room, ensuring all policies & procedures are being followed, as well as ensuring the room operates to the highest standards to provide the best care to the children in your room.

You will be working a 38.75 hour week, Monday to Friday. The nursery is open all year round within the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm. Your shift patterns will be as follows: 7:45am - 4:30pm and 9:30am - 6:15pm. You will be based in the room with children aged between 2-5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Have sound knowledge of Child Development and EYFS
• Have key person responsibility
• Carrying out observations
• Planning engaging activities for the children
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with both the children and parents/carers
• Being a role model to the staff under your management and providing effective leadership
• Work closely with the Nursery Manager and other Room Leaders
• Adhere to policies and procedures at all times
• To work as part of a team and support members of staff and children
