This position requires previous experience in managing the day-to-day running of a Nursery. Nursery Manager experience is desirable however Deputy Managers may also be considered for this role. You will be responsible for all financial operations, ongoing training and development of staff whilst ensuring the nursery is being run to the highest standard in the upmost professional way.
Our client is a nursery located in Ascot and they have the opportunity for a Level 3 qualified or above to run the nursery as Nursery Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
- Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members
- Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies
- Ensuring the nursery meets the high standards that are expected by Ofsted
- Ensure all staff are following strict policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure effective communication throughout the setting
- Carry out staff supervisions and appraisals
- To lead the team and provide effective leadership and management of the setting
- Evaluating the performance in your setting
- Maintain accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure the setting follows Health & Safety policies
- Manage, monitor and control budgets and maintain cash systems
- Identify training needs, develop a training plan and evaluate training undertaken by staff
Requirements for This Role:
- Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
- Minimum of 2 years previous Management experience in a nursery
- A management qualification
- A higher-level qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education/Childhood Studies
- A current First Aid qualification
- Excellent knowledge of all essential Childcare related topics (Safeguarding, EYFS etc)
