We have partnered with a well-known and established Childcare name to recruit for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner in Gloucestershire to start as soon as possible. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 2 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 1 year previous experience in Childcare.

They are an Ofsted registered nursery and achieved an overall grade 'Good'. They achieved the following feedback on their latest inspection:

• "The management team has a strong vision for the nursery"
• "Leaders and staff have a very good knowledge of safeguarding and the procedures"

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring you follow all policies and procedures, build and maintain working relationships with parents/carers, assisting other Nursery Practitioners in your room, plan and prepare child lead activities in line with the EYFS and complete regular observations on childrens development.

Nursery Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

• Be a key worker for a group of children
• Communicate with parents/carers
• Maintain accurate childrens records
• Ensure that the nursery meets safety and hygiene requirements
• To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures
• To maintain records and documentation that complies with statutory requirements
