We are proud to be partnered with our client who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner on a part-time, 24 hours per week basis, who is qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare. Our client is looking for a qualified early years professional who is passionate about providing consistent high quality care for the children that attend on a daily basis. They aim daily for the workplace to be fun, energetic and caring, as well as one in which staff feel valued and supported.

The nursery is open from 7:30am - 7:00pm, the successful candidate will be working a 24 hour week, Monday - Friday. The setting itself is ideally located near public transport links. The garden has been re-done and children therefore have a great outdoor space with several resources to explore. They make the most of their outdoor play environments, as they are keen to support imaginative development, while there is also a strong focus on healthy living and nutrition.

In 2016 the nursery was awarded in recognition of nursery efforts to ensure that people who use Makaton as a form of communication feel welcome and able to use all services provided.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:

• Safeguard all children
• Provide feedback to parents and carers
• Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly followed at all times
• Plan age appropriate activities
• Carry out observations and next steps
• Keep accurate records of child development

Requirements of this Nursery Practitioner Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Previous Childcare experience
