We have partnered with a well-known and established nursery who are currently recruiting for a Room Leader & Deputy Nursery Manager who is qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and has previous Childcare experience. Our client is looking for a qualified early years professional who is passionate for a career in Childcare and looking for a step up or new challenge in their career. The successful candidate will be joining a nursery who aim daily for the workplace to be fun, energetic and caring, as well as one in which staff feel valued and supported - and you could be a part of that!

The nursery is open from 7:30am - 7:00pm, the successful candidate will be working a 40 hour week, Monday - Friday. The setting itself is ideally located near public transport links and it has excellent indoor and outdoor play areas with amazing views from the gardens.

Your responsibilities as a Room Leader & Deputy Nursery Manager will include:

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the setting
• To be responsible for leading and managing the staff in your room
• Take responsibility for the Nursery Manager duties when absent
• Safeguard all children
• To identify needs for training in your team
• Provide feedback to parents and carers
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the highest standards
• Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly followed at all times
• Plan age appropriate activities
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the requirements of Ofsted
• Carry out observations and next steps
• Keep accurate records of child development

Requirements of this Room Leader & Deputy Nursery Manager Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience
