Our client is a nursery located near Ruislip and they have the exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to run a brand-new nursery, on schedule to open in May 2023, on a full-time permanent basis. They are offering very attractive compensation packages and are looking for the successful candidate to start upon opening in May 2023.
This position will allow you to watch a brand-new nursery start from day-1 and watch it flourish into a successful setting, under your Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Fully understanding the Policies and Procedures and following them when running the nursery
- Managing and overseeing the daily running of the nursery
- Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and the staff team
- Ensure all staff are following strict policies and procedures at all times
- Completing staff supervisions and ensuring communication with the staff team is kept to a high standard
- Carry out staff supervisions and appraisals
- Leading staff meetings on a monthly basis
- Staff delegation and deployment to ensure all rooms are working within the adult to child ratios
- Evaluating the performance in your setting
- Conducting peer observations and management spot check
- Conducting clipboard tests on the staff team to improve knowledge
- Mentoring and training the staff team whilst encouraging and upskilling practice
- Organising parent events
- Monitoring all daily and weekly checks and ensuring they are completed to a high standard
- Conducting viewings of the nursery
- Assisting with the enquiry process, following up with parents after their viewing
Requirements for This Role:
- A minimum of a Level 4 in Early Years is essential
- Experience of working in a Montessori setting is essential
- Previous experience of working as a Nursery Manager is essential
- Good ICT skills
- Effectively lead and manage the staff team
- Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted and welfare requirements
- To be passionate and motivated
- Have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working
