Salary: Up to £26,170.00 per year

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is currently looking to recruit for a Nursery Room Leader. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare and previous experience in Childcare we would love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be assisting and supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management and running of your room. This is a permanent role which is offering a competitive basic salary and additional benefits. This includes opportunities for future career progression.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement the EYFS curriculum
• Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate childrens records
• Assume deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager if required
• Support, mentor and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties
• Monitor your teams paperwork including planning and learning journeys on a regular basis
• Provide high standards of quality within the nursery
• Remain up-to-date with current developments in childcare
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met

Requirements of this Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Minimum of 1 year previous Room Leader experience
• Passion to upskill
• A positive role model to your team
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
