We are proud to be partnered with our client who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader who is qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and has previous Childcare experience. Our client is looking for a qualified early years professional who is passionate for a career in Childcare and about providing consistent high quality care for the children that attend on a daily basis. You will be joining a nursery who aim daily for the workplace to be fun, energetic and caring, as well as one in which staff feel valued and supported.

The nursery is open from 7:30am - 7:00pm, the successful candidate will be working a 40 hour week, Monday - Friday. The setting itself is ideally located near public transport links. The garden has been re-done and children therefore have a great outdoor space with several resources to explore. They make the most of their outdoor play environments, as they are keen to support imaginative development, while there is also a strong focus on healthy living and nutrition.

In 2016 the nursery was awarded in recognition of nursery efforts to ensure that people who use Makaton as a form of communication feel welcome and able to use all services provided.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Room Leader will include:

• To be responsible for leading and managing the staff in your room
• Safeguard all children
• To identify needs for training in your team
• Provide feedback to parents and carers
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the highest standards
• Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly followed at all times
• Plan age appropriate activities
• Ensuring your room is consistently running to the requirements of Ofsted
• Carry out observations and next steps
• Keep accurate records of child development

Requirements of this Nursery Room Leader Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience
