About The Client

A very rare and highly rewarding opportunity has arisen in which our client is currently seeking to recruit a Nursery Manager. This position is for an ASAP start. Your role as Nursery Manager will be to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and to provide effective management and leadership of the nursery. You will be responsible for ensuring all staff are adequately trained and that the nursery meets all requirements to achieve the best possible OFSTED rating.

Our client has received an overall grade 'Good' on their latest OFSTED inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver effective management of the setting
• To conduct team meetings and supervisions
• To ensure all staff follow strict policies and procedures
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS, Health & Safety, Sageguarding etc
• Ensure the setting is delivering to a high standard to obtain the best possible Ofsted rating
• Look for methods to improve the nursery for all stakeholders
• Ensure that all accidents are appropriately recorded and stored
• Undertake the required administrative duties
• To be a role model for the whole staff team
• Promptly act on any Safeguarding concerns raised
• Ensure all children receive a high standard of care and education
• Any other duties as required from Management positions

Requirements for This Role:

• Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare (Level 6 is desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years previous Management experience in a nursery
• Sound knowledge of all essential Childcare related topics (Safeguarding, EYFS etc)
• Able to reliably commute to North London
