Salary: £22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year

If you have a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and are looking for your next role, in either a full-time or part-time contract, this could be the job for you!

Candidates ideally will be working full-time, however our client is able to accommodate part-time. Part-time candidates must be able to work a minimum of 2 days per week at 8 hour days.

You will be working within a setting that has recently expanded and has very recently opened this setting. The nursery has been recently renovated with a modern feel and is conveniently located near local train stations and bus stops. There is also free parking near-by.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities in line with the EYFS
• Assist with the implementation of activities
• Be a key worker for a group of children within the Nursery setting by observing, monitoring and recording each key child's individual development
• To attend parents evenings / open days and staff training
• Communicate with parents / carers about the day to day needs of the children
• Assist children in acquiring self-help skills
• Help ensure that the Nursery meets safety and hygiene requirements
• Report any issues to a senior member of staff
• To be flexible within working practices in the Nursery
• To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures (Safeguarding, Child Protection Policy, Confidentiality Procedures and Equal Opportunities etc)
• Keep up to date with developments in childcare
• Work additional hours to maintain ratios as and when be required
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature from time to time

Requirements of this Role:

• Level 2 or 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 6 months previous Childcare experience
