We are proud to be working on behalf of our client who is currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner with a minimum of Level 2 in Early Years.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and well-known nursery with a friendly and experienced staff team. They also achieved a grade 'Outstanding' on their latest Ofsted inspection.

The setting has been newly renovated for a modern and warm feel, however the original building has lots of interesting history, dating back to 1850! The nursery as it is now has been redesigned from scratch to provide a light and spacious setting, ensuring the children that attend on a daily basis can learn, grow and develop in a homely, safe and secure environment. Each room has been split into different room areas, each include resources that can be used daily.

They operate their rooms above the legal ratio requirement to take away some of the stress from their valued and hard-working practitioners, this means there will be more staff to assist and therefore making your days much easier and stress-free!

The nursery has children from 3 months to 5 years and the setting itself is ideally located, being only approximately a 10 minute walk from near-by transport links. They are open 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks per year with a 1 week Christmas closure.

If you have a full Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, we would love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities in line with the EYFS
  • Assist with the implementation of activities
  • Be a key worker for a group of children
  • To work in partnership with parents and carers
  • To observe, plan and evaluate appropriately for children's development
  • To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature from time to time

Requirements of this Role:

  • Minimum of Level 2 in Childcare
  • Minimum of 6 months previous Childcare experience
