We pleased to have partnered with a nursery in South West London to recruit for a Nursery Room Leader to start as soon as possible. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.

The nursery was established in 2011 and the youngest age group in the setting is 2 years old. They are a Montessori nursery, therefore they have a passion for providing an educational environment in which the children develop natural interests and benefit from enhanced social interaction and independent learning, within a child-lead environment. Due to this, previous Montessori experience is strongly desired however not a requirement.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are followed by members of your team, training new staff members, provide effective management to your team, build and maintain working relationships with parents/carers and complete regular observations on children's development.

Nursery Room Leader Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high standards of childcare and education
• To support the aims and objectives of the nursery
• To give support to other team members
• To work as part of a team
• To work as a key person
• To report any concerns promptly to the Nursery Manager
• To keep records of your key children's development
• To ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
• Ensure room checks and outdoor checks are conducted
• Work alongside the Manager and staff team
• To liaise with parents/carers
• To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness
