About The Client

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager looking for your next career move..?

If so, out client has a great opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a Nursery Management position and a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare to join their growing team.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead the nursery and staff and provide effective management and leadership to ensure the nursery is a safe, healthy and exciting environment to be in for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver high quality management and leadership to the nursery
• To make high level management decisions
• To be responsible for the daily smooth running of the nursery
• To adhere to the settings values and ambitions
• To manage and supervise all staff under your management
• To deal with all Safeguarding concerns raised in an effective and timely manner
• To conduct annual staff appraisals
• To communicate frequently with parents/carers
• To have an ongoing responsibility to ensure the nursery operates in a way that meets all OFSTED requirements
• To ensure all industry regulations are followed at all times
• To identify staff training and development opportunities
• To ensure all staff follow nursery policies and procedures
• To undertake any other duties as required

Requirements for This Role:

• Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 5 years previous Management experience in a nursery
• Excellent knowledge of all essential Childcare related topics (Safeguarding, EYFS etc)
• Able to reliably commute to the setting
