Our client is currently looking to recruit for a full-time Room Leader. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare, we would love to hear from you! To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or above.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement the EYFS curriculum
- Leading, developing and managing your room staff
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum
- Maintain accurate childrens records
- Supporting team development
- Assume deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager if required
- Support, mentor and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties
- Monitor your teams paperwork including planning and learning journeys on a regular basis
- To assist in the development and support of other staff members
- Provide high standards of quality within the nursery
- To respect and value all colleagues, children and parents
- Be a key person
- Attending and taking part in staff meetings
- Remain up-to-date with current developments in childcare
- To lead by example
- Provide training and monitor the progress of new employees
- To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your designated room
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met
- To reinforce company policies and procedures
Requirements of this Role:
- Level 3 in Childcare or above
- Minimum of 1 year previous Room Leader experience preferable
- Passion to upskill
- A positive role model to your team
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
