About The Client

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Room Leader to start as soon as possible. Candidates for this role must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.

They are an OFSTED registered nursery and achieved an overall grade 'Good'.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established, friendly and experienced team located in Beaconsfield. To be considered for this role, you must be able to reliably commute to the Beaconsfield area on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
• To manage your room and staff based in your room
• Assist the nursery management team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment
• To be aware of all policies and procedures
• To be aware of the high standards of the setting
• To plan and organise activities
• To develop your role within the team
• Supporting your key children's growth and development
• Ensure the cleanliness of the children at all times
• To work closely with parents/carers to keep them updated on their children's progress
• To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• To ensure the provision of a high quality environment
• To ensure confidentiality regarding information of the children and their families
• To advise the Designated Safeguarding Lead of any concerns
• Support, mentor and supervise the staff in your room
• Liaise with other room leaders to ensure a smooth transition for children
• Liaise with Chef regarding the children's dietary needs
• To undertake and lead on additional responsibilities such as SENCO
