Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is currently looking to recruit for a Nursery Room Leader for their 2-3 room. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare or Montessori and previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader, we would love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a team
• Caring for all children
• Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content
• Observing, assessing, and planning for the children's individual needs
• Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education
• Ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements
• Be aware of the nurseries policies and procedures
• Leading a team
• Delegating tasks to your team to ensure the smooth running of the room
• Sharing creative ideas and willingly involving your team in decision making for the classroom e.g., activities/planning
• Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children

Requirements of this Role:

• Level 3 in Childcare or above
• Minimum of 1 year previous Room Leader experience
• A positive role model to your team
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
• To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team
