We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client in London who are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner with the potential for more than one position. A minimum of 1 year previous experience in Childcare is required to be considered for this role. If you have a Level 2 or above in Childcare and a minimum of 1 year previous experience, this could be the perfect role for you, keep reading!

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an active role in the education, care and development of each child in your room. You will be required to have frequent conversations with parents/carers at the end of each day to provide feedback on their child's day.

The nursery is open from 7:30am - 6:30pm, this role is a full-time, 40 hours per week role. The employer is unfortunately not able to accommodate term-time only so to be considered for this role, you must be able to work all year round. The setting has children between the ages of 3 months - 5 years.

The successful candidate(s) will be joining a nursery that has been running for nearly 20 years therefore you will be joining a well established and friendly setting in which there is the potential for progression opportunities in the future for candidates that would like to undertake Level 3 and progress to higher roles.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:

• To Implement and follow the EYFS
• To work as part of a team
• To maintain the Health & Safety of the setting
• Liaise with and support parents and other family members
• Ensure each child is collected by someone known to the Nursery
• To respect the confidentiality of information received

Requirements of this Nursery Practitioner Role:

• Level 2 in Childcare or above
• Minimum 1 year previous Childcare experience
• A passion and commitment for a long-term career in Childcare
