An exciting role for a Deputy Nursery Manager has become available at one of our clients settings, based in West London. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and at least 2 years previous experience as a Room Leader or above. If you have a full Level 3 in Childcare and are eager to progress in your career, we would love to hear from you!
This vacancy offers a Management position within a friendly and supportive nursery. You will be reporting to the Nursery Manager and will assist the Nursery Manager in running the setting on a day-to-day basis.
Our client is an Ofsted registered nursery and achieved an overall grade 'Good' on their latest inspection. They received feedback which complimented Management and staff for the level of importance they place on their professional development. Not only that, but they were also complimented on the way the Manager and staff team as a whole run the nursery and the level of care and education provided to the children on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities of the Nursery Deputy Manager:
- To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
- To support the Nursery Manager
- To support the wider staff team
- To provide high standards of childcare and education
- To be responsible for a group of key children
- To undertake appraisals and supervisions as directed
- To deputise for the Manager in their absence
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature
Requirements for this Nursery Deputy Manager Role:
- Level 3 or above in Childcare
- Previous experience of managing a room or team within a nursery setting
- Minimum of 2 years previous Childcare experience
