About The Client
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are a very well-known and established nursery currently recruiting a Nursery Room Leader to start as soon as possible. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years as well as a minimum of 2 years previous experience in Childcare.
They are an Ofsted registered nursery and achieved an overall grade 'Outstanding'.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established, friendly and experienced team located in North London. You will be joining a nursery that has been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and are working hard continually to maintain this on future inspections.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Management position. As Room Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring your teams performance, being a positive role model to both the children and your team and ensuring your room is continually running at the highest level in terms of care of the children and the level of education provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring your teams performance
- Being a positive role model to both the children and your team
- Ensuring your room is continually running at the highest level
- To lead your room and offer support and assistance to your team if required
- To be responsible for the management and organisation of your room
- To have key person responsibility
- Plan and prepare child lead activities
- Conduct observations and log appropriately
- Work in partnership with early years professionals
- To ensure your team adhere to the nursery policies and procedures
- Ensuring staff training and induction is maintained
- Observe each childs progress and report on achievements
- Ensuring clear understanding of the settling of new children into your room
- Ensure that your team maintain an attractive and stimulating environment for the children in your care
- To report/act on any Safeguarding concerns in a timely manner
