Our client is a nursery located in Wallingford and they are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of Level 2 in Childcare and a minimum of 6 months previous experience to step into a new role within a team that is growing and dedicated to providing the highest quality care to the children.

You will be working within the hours of 7:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To adhere to all policies and procedures
• Maintain the preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the nursery
• Keep and monitor accident and incident records
• Supervise mealtimes
• Assist with laundry and dishwashing duties when required
• Attend staff meetings as arranged by the Nursery Manager
• Work with children, parents, external agencies and the community to ensure the welfare and safety of children
• Offer children within the nursery equal opportunities
• Participate in regular parents evenings, publicity, open weekends and childrens outings
• Any other duties appropriate to the post as directed by either the Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Management

Requirements of this Role:

• Minimum of Level 2 in Childcare
• Minimum of 6 months previous experience
