Our client is a nursery located in East London and they have the opportunity for a Level 3 qualified or above to run the setting as Nursery Manager. They are offering a very attractive compensation package and are looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible!

You will be responsible for monitoring all staffs progress and identifying opportunities for further development and training. It will be your responsibility to ensure the nursery is running to the highest possible standard and have a continuous role in ensuring that the setting is operating as it should for an Ofsted inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall day to day management responsibility
• To ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
• To manage, supervise and support the nursery staff
• To undertake and assign designated officer roles
• To ensure all staff understand and work the nurseries policies and procedures
• Take responsibility for planning
• To organise and participate in the key person system
• To conduct staff appraisals and supervisions

Requirements for This Role:

• Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 3 years previous Management experience in a nursery
• Excellent knowledge of all essential Childcare related topics (Safeguarding, EYFS etc)
