Our client is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Apprentice to start as soon as possible. To be considered for this role, candidates must already hold a Level 2 in Childcare and be eager to progress onto Level 3 and have a long-term career within the industry.

As a Nursery Practitioner Apprentice, you will play an active role in the education, care and development of each child in your room while working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. You will be trained on all key aspects of Childcare such as Safeguarding and Child Development.

The nursery is open from 8:00am - 6:00pm. This is a full-time role, with a maximum of 41 hours per week. A big achievement for them is that they do not have any marketing campaigns apart from a website - all new families are from word-of-mouth and recommendations from existing families.

The setting has been established for just under 20 years and is a family run setting where they put the children first. They provide the children with a 'home from home' experience. They have three settings, each highly rated by Ofsted. The settings are fully equipped with naturally lit playrooms, a wide range of resources and extensive outdoor areas.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner Apprentice will include:

• To plan and supervise child led activities
• To support children to develop numeracy and language skills
• To observe each child and shape their learning experience
• To meet the care needs of individual children
• To work in partnership with colleagues and parents/carers

Requirements of this Nursery Practitioner Apprentice Role:

• Level 2 in Childcare
• Previous Childcare experience
• A passion and commitment for a long-term career in Childcare
