Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX)
- Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification
- Pediatric Care experience (1+ year)
- COVID-19 vaccination status
- 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience
- Availability to work full-time (Monday - Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week)

- Interest in working in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (Medical Daycare) setting

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Houston, TX. The RN will be part of the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC - Medical Daycare) program, responsible for providing nursing interventions and educational services to parents or guardians caring for children with special needs. This unique role combines nursing with activities typically found in a traditional daycare. The position is located in Houston, TX, and candidates must be local to the area.

Job Summary:
- Immediate opening for a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Daycare, a leading Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) provider.
- Responsibilities include specialized nursing interventions, administering medication, respiratory support, managing feeding tubes, and wound care.
- Provides educational services to enhance parents' or guardians' confidence and competence in caring for children with special needs.
- Collaborates effectively with an interdisciplinary health team, including HHAs and CNAs.
Note: Experience in babysitting, nannying, or caring for your own children does not qualify as pediatric experience for this role. Pediatric experience must be from a work setting.
