Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Support Analyst to join our vibrant IT team. In this entry-level position, you will help debug and resolve technical issues while delivering excellent customer support to both internal teams and external clients. You will obtain practical expertise in IT support while helping to maintain a dependable and efficient technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to support queries by email, phone, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and handle fundamental technical issues involving hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Help with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT assets and software programs.
- Document and track concerns in the ticketing system, including explicit notes on problem-solving methods.
- Work with senior team members to escalate complex situations as necessary.
- Train and support users on technological procedures and systems.
- Participate in projects that improve support processes and user experience.
- Stay up to date on evolving technological developments and best practices for IT support.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and a fundamental understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Prior experience with ticketing systems and customer support software is advantageous.
- The ability to operate well in both team and individual environments.
- The ability to multitask and manage time well is required to prioritize tasks.
Education & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred, along with equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in customer service or technical assistance is preferred, but not essential.
- Relevant credentials, such as CompTIA A+, provide an advantage.
