About the job UX Research Intern
We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented UX Research Intern to support our user experience team in gathering insights that drive product design and innovation. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in developing hands-on experience in user research, usability testing, and data analysis within a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and conducting user research studies (interviews, surveys, usability tests)
Recruit and coordinate participants for research sessions
Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user data
Support the creation of research reports, summaries, and presentations
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to share insights
Help develop user personas, journey maps, and research artifacts
Maintain research documentation and repositories
Stay updated on UX research methods and industry trends
Required Qualifications
Must be currently residing in the United States
Valid U.S. work authorization (student visa with work eligibility, citizen, or authorized work permit holder)
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
Basic understanding of UX research methods and principles
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics)
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or basic statistical tools)
Knowledge of design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
Previous internship or academic project experience in UX research
Work Environment
Fully remote internship with flexible scheduling
