Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive external communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and responding to media inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Create and oversee high-quality content for public-facing platforms, including websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media.
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, executive leadership) to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts, including planning, messaging, and response execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze communication performance metrics to optimize outreach strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in external communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
  • Proven experience managing media relations and public-facing communication strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is highly desirable.
