Rural Staffing Services® partners with rural hospitals, clinics, community health centers, long-term care organizations, and healthcare systems throughout Vermont to identify experienced information technology and health information leaders who understand the unique needs of rural healthcare.

We are currently connecting with professionals who may be interested in active and upcoming IT, information systems, health information management, medical records, clinical informatics, cybersecurity, and data leadership opportunities across Vermont.

These opportunities may include leadership within Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, community hospitals, long-term care organizations, and integrated rural healthcare systems.

This Is More Than an IT or HIM Role

Technology and health information are central to nearly every part of modern healthcare.

In a rural organization, IT and HIM leaders help ensure employees have dependable systems, patient information is protected, records are accurate, and technology supports safe, efficient, and connected care.

These leaders may oversee everything from infrastructure, cybersecurity, EHR systems, applications, and technical support to medical records, privacy, coding oversight, data integrity, analytics, and information governance.

The strongest rural IT and HIM leaders understand that technology is not simply about systems. It is about people, communication, trust, and making sure employees have the tools and information they need to serve their community.

Why Rural Vermont?

Vermont's rural healthcare organizations serve communities shaped by the Green Mountains, forests, farmland, rivers, historic villages, and close-knit towns.

These organizations may operate with smaller teams, limited resources, aging infrastructure, and fewer local technology partners while depending on reliable systems and accurate information every day.

IT and HIM leadership in a rural Vermont setting offers the opportunity to modernize systems, support employees, protect patient information, improve access to reliable data, and strengthen care across an entire organization.
