Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (with a two-year commitment)
Rural Staffing Services is searching for a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a top-ranked rural hospital in Vernal, UT. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team and provide high-quality respiratory care.
About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for performing essential respiratory therapy procedures, managing ventilators, conducting arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and providing neonatal and adult resuscitation. This role plays a critical part in patient care by ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including ABG, SVN, CPT, and ventilator management.

Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.

Interpret and execute physician orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the physician.

Provide patient education and risk assessments to improve respiratory health outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Utah (or ability to obtain).

Certifications:
-
BLS & ACLS (must be obtained within six months of hire).

PALS & NRP (must be obtained within six months of hire).
