Are you a hands-on financial leader with a deep understanding of Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) or Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)? We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support rural healthcare operations in Washington State. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a close-knit, mission-driven hospital setting and understands the unique financial challenges and opportunities in rural healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, and reimbursement strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with CAH or FQHC-specific financial regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement models, and cost reporting requirements.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve financial performance while maintaining high-quality patient care.

  • Lead financial reporting, audits, and cost containment initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in a rural healthcare setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of Critical Access Hospital or FQHC reimbursement structures, cost reporting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive financial strategy and operational improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
