Rural Hospital and Family Medicine Clinic | Pacific Northwest
Position Type: Full time, salaried
Schedule: Day shift, four days per week
Workdays: Wednesday through Saturday
Patient Volume: Approximately sixteen to seventeen patients per day

We are supporting a rural hospital and family medicine clinic seeking a Physician Assistant who enjoys variety, collaboration, and meaningful patient relationships. This role blends traditional primary care with same day Express Care coverage, offering both continuity and clinical diversity.

The Practice Environment
Family medicine and same day Express Care services
Balanced schedule with both primary care and Express Care coverage
Dedicated medical assistant support for each provider
Virtual scribe support available
Integrated behavioral health services
On site services include pain management, dental, optometry, and diabetes education
Access to general surgery and orthopedics
Visiting specialty services include podiatry, cardiology, dermatology, and pulmonology
Electronic Medical Record supported by a clinical informatics registered nurse
What You Will Do
Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan
Deliver same day Express Care services for acute needs
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Collaborate closely with physicians and care team members
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in quality improvement and best practice initiatives
Practice medicine with professionalism, compassion, and integrity
What We Are Looking For
Certified Physician Assistant with active or license eligible Washington State licensure
Board certification required
Federal and state DEA registration required
Current Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications
One year or more of recent clinical experience preferred
Strong communication skills and sound clinical judgment
Comfort working in a collaborative, team based environment
A genuine interest in rural medicine and community focused care
