What You May Lead

Responsibilities will vary by organization and position and may include:

Helping improve communication between shifts, departments, and leadership
Supporting patients, families, and employees during difficult or unexpected situations
Helping ensure nursing services remain stable and available to the community

What You May Bring

Qualifications will vary by opportunity, but organizations may seek:

Current Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for Vermont licensure
Progressive nursing experience
Previous leadership experience as a nurse manager, supervisor, house supervisor, director, or comparable nursing leader
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting staffing, scheduling, employee development, or nursing operations
Knowledge of quality, patient safety, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards
