Salary Range: $67,000 – $96,000 annually, based on experience
Rural Staffing Services is partnering with a well-established rural healthcare organization in scenic south-central Washington to recruit a Materials Management Supervisor.
This is a key leadership role supporting hospital operations, patient safety, and financial stewardship. In rural healthcare, every supply matters. This leader ensures the right materials are in the right place at the right time while protecting resources and maintaining compliance.

The Materials Management Supervisor oversees purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply distribution across the district. This role directly supports clinical teams, department leaders, and financial leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient care delivery.
Position Overview
The Materials Management Supervisor will:
Lead procurement of medical and non-medical supplies
Manage warehouse and supply storage operations
Oversee inventory accuracy and cost control
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Support capital purchasing and contract review
Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and group purchasing agreements
Supervise and mentor Materials Management staff
Collaborate with department leaders to meet operational supply needs
Support emergency operations planning under the hospital incident command structure when activated
This position works closely with finance leadership and collaborates across clinical and operational departments.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree preferred
CMRP (AHRMM) or CSCP (ASCM) certification preferred
Experience
Minimum two years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, inventory control, or a related environment
Healthcare materials management experience strongly preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
