Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. You will assist with day-to-day financial operations, including invoice processing, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses.
Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in preparing financial documentation and reports.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
Experience in an accounting or finance role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Irish tax and accounting regulations is a plus.
Qualifications:
A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be advantageous.
