RGI Qualified Plumber

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RGI Qualified Plumber to join our clients growing renewable energy team. This is a key appointment within the business and an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to take the next step in their career.

Due to continued growth and the expansion of our clients service contracts, they are looking for someone who can combine exceptional technical expertise with strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will become their RGI Qualified Plumber , overseeing the day-to-day operation of the service team while continuing to work hands-on in the field.

Key Responsibilities

· Service, maintain and fault-find on domestic heat pump and gas boiler systems.

· Carry out diagnostics and repairs to a high technical standard.

· Lead and support a team of service engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.

· Oversee the delivery of service contracts and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with property management companies, clients and customers.

· Assist with technical training and the ongoing development of engineering staff.

· Ensure compliance with RGI regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures.

· Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.

Essential Requirements

· RGI Qualified Plumber.

· Strong background in domestic plumbing.

· Proven experience servicing both gas boilers and heat pump systems.

· Up to 5 years' experience in heat pump servicing, fault finding and diagnostics.

· Excellent technical knowledge of renewable heating systems.

· Experience mentoring or leading engineers would be highly desirable.

· Strong communication and customer relationship skills.

· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

· Full clean driving licence.
