We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant to join our Consulting Division. As a Dynamics GP Consultant, you will play a vital role in our organization by providing both proactive services through account management, and reactive services through solution analysis, design, configuration, deployment, and support.

You will be the first line of support for our existing client base and responsible for the delivery and execution of support tasks at the request of the client. Managing client challenges and resolve through close communications and ongoing knowledge from prior experience, training, and education.

You will answer complex questions on the function and usage of Microsoft Dynamics GP and its related tools to help our clients realize the maximum value from their solution. You will manage a portfolio of clients and serve as the relationship manager to gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client's business, and you will investigate, manage, track and close client support issues, specifically related to the database and functions of the application(s).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and improve relationships with clients.
  • Operate as a frontline, primary support liaison between RSM Puerto Rico and our existing clients.
  • Effectively respond to Microsoft Dynamics GP inquiries of both a functional and technical nature.
  • Capture and respond to client requests for support services.
  • Act as the lead implementation consultant in new Dynamics GP implementation projects.
  • Identify client challenges, collect additional details for client and utilize Microsoft and RSM Puerto Rico resources to identify solutions.
  • Report detailed information within the client tracking system and document processes, routines, and programs by following the defined guidelines and team goals & priorities.
  • Regularly review the database of submitted items and proactively follow up with clients to ensure that their enquiries and/or issues have been satisfactorily resolved.
  • Work closely with other team members as part of a cohesive group in exchanging knowledge through training sessions and peer to peer interaction.
  • Maximize and maintain current knowledge and awareness of applications and related technologies.
  • Work closely with management on current account status, business development initiatives, and other consulting related responsibilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and development support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Dynamics GP implementation experience, including tools such as Management Reporter and Integration Manager. Database querying knowledge is preferred.
  • 6+ years of industry and/or consulting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in the best interests of the client.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently and independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry specific best practices.
