Our client is a fast-paced fintech company, and they are seeking motivated candidates for an exciting new opportunity. The ideal candidate will be available to start relatively quickly, with the option to begin on a fractional basis before transitioning to full-time. We are looking for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running and bring their expertise to the role.

They are looking for a product expert with experience in a fintech B2C payments space; someone with solid experience in a scale-up environment, accustomed to taking an idea from initial concept through to launch, with demonstrable success. The Senior PM will be used to working across all areas of compliance, financial crime, and operational functions, as well as managing fast-paced projects, often with extensive tech/ops dependencies. They want an ambitious, driven individual with a practical approach to their delivery

Responsibilities

  • Scope, define and prioritise features, coordinating across complex dependencies to go from idea to launch, including post-launch optimisation
  • Manage external product partners as well as internal stakeholders (including C-level) through effective communication
  • Work with the Compliance team to ensure ongoing regulatory requirements are met
  • Work with the Financial Crime team to ensure controls evolve to stay ahead of crime
  • Work with the Operations teams to drive ongoing operational efficiency efforts

Requirements

  • Have NPI experience of at least one complex product in a B2C start-up/scale-up environment
  • Demonstrable experience in payments space/fintech
  • Demonstrable experience in managing integration projects or products with lots of technical/operational dependencies
  • Demonstrable experience working with compliance, financial crime and operations functions
  • Solid project management experience
  • Good explainer, you can retain a complex amount of material and communicate to different groups of people differently, with the right level of context and specificity (eg: Execs vs Engineers vs Customers)
  • A hands-on mentality
  • SQL experience or willingness to learn SQL quickly is a must
